Lauren was born and raised in Winnipeg. She received her Juris Doctor from Ludlow Hall, Faculty of Law at the University of New Brunswick in 2018. Before receiving her Juris Doctor, Lauren began her university education at the University of Manitoba where she received her Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) in 2015 majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology.

Outside of work and school, Lauren loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves spending time at her cabin, travelling, and she is an avid reader.
